INTEGRATIONS NEEDED FOR VIDEO TRIGGERS

In this section, you will find the options for building your Video Triggers tool. Follow along in your PlusThis app, or by viewing the numbered step in the screenshots.

Step 1: Simply paste your Wistia, YouTube, Vidalytics or Vimeo embed code here.

In the spot provided, paste in the embed code from your Wistia, YouTube, Vidalytics or Vimeo video and then hit "Next Step"

Step 2: As this video is watched, how should we apply tags?

You can select, in the drop-down, to apply tags based on cue points or based on accumulated time watched.

Step 3: At (minute:second)

In these spots, enter ho wmany minutes and/or seconds into the video you would like to apply the tag

Step 4: Apply this Tag

At the time you specified in Step 3, pick which tag you would like applied

Step 5: Set Another Tag

If you would like to apply another tag at another point in the video, click the "Set Another Tag" button and repeat steps 2-4 for each additional tag you would like applied.

Step 6: Disable contact id verification

If you plan on using this tool on a platform that doesn't expose contact id, check this box to disable the contact id verification

Step 7: Tool Name

Enter a name for your tool in this field. The name is solely for use inside of PlusThis, and will not be visible to customers

Embed your Video Trigger on a page on your website.

Step 1: On the Usage and Instructions page, copy the code under the ‘My Website’ tab.

Step 2: Embed the code in an HTML element on your page where you would like the Video Trigger to display.

Step 3: Be sure to pass contact details to the page the Video Trigger is embedded on. You can do this using the link generator, or by passing details through an Infusionsoft webform submission.

Step 4: IMPORTANT: If using cue points, the window must be active during the cue point for the tag to be applied.

Put this video code where you would like your video to appear. For video triggers to function properly, you must pass the contact record id and email address to the page that uses this code. In Email Builder, append this snippet to the end of the link (the link should be to the page that has your video): ?Id={{contact.id}}&Email={{contact.email}}

Embed your Video Trigger on a page on your Thank You Page.

Step 1: On the Usage and Instructions page, copy the code under the ‘Infusionsoft Hosted Thank You Page’ tab.

Step 2: In Infusionsoft, open your webform settings, and click open the Thank-You page tab. Embed the code on the Thank You page where you would like the Video Trigger to display.

Step 3: IMPORTANT: If using cue points, the window must be active during the cue point for the tag to be applied.

Embed your Video Trigger on a page on your CustomerHub Page.

Step 1: On the Usage and Instructions page, copy the code under the ‘CustomerHub’ tab.

Step 2: Embed the code in an HTML element on your page where you would like the Video Trigger to display.

Step 3: IMPORTANT: Be sure to embed this tool on Gated-Only pages that requires the contact to be logged in to view the page.

Step 4: IMPORTANT: If using cue points, the window must be active during the cue point for the tag to be applied.

Embed your Video Trigger on a page on your Memberium Page.

Step 1: On the Usage and Instructions page, copy the code under the ‘Memberium’ tab.

Step 2: Embed the code in an HTML element on your page where you would like the Video Trigger to display.

Step 3: IMPORTANT: Be sure to embed this tool on Gated-Only pages that requires the contact to be logged in to view the page.

Step 4: IMPORTANT: If using cue points, the window must be active during the cue point for the tag to be applied.

Embed your Video Trigger on a page on your iMember360 Page.

Step 1: On the Usage and Instructions page, copy the code under the ‘iMember360’ tab.

Step 2: Embed the code in an HTML element on your page where you would like the Video Trigger to display.

Step 3: IMPORTANT: Be sure to embed this tool on Gated-Only pages that requires the contact to be logged in to view the page.

Step 4: IMPORTANT: If using cue points, the window must be active during the cue point for the tag to be applied.

It's important to note that if you choose to use "Based on accumulated time spent watching" the tag will only be applied if the browser tab with the video in it remains the active tab the entire time. We can not track accumulated time watched if the tab isn't active while the contact is watching the video. ​
