In this section, you will find the options for building your tool. Follow along in your PlusThis app, or by viewing the numbered step in the screenshots.

Step 1: Email Validation

By default, this toggle is set to "off". If you would like to validate the Email address of your contacts, switch the toggle to "on".

Step 2: Phone Validation

By default, this toggle is set to "off". If you would like to validate the phone numbers of your contacts, switch the toggle to "on".

Step 3: Which Email field should be Validated?

In the drop-down, select which Email property you would like to validate.

If you do not have a property created already, you can create a property by clicking on the plus (+) symbol on the right-hand side of the property selector.

Step 4: Update Email address with suggested update.

By default, this is toggled to "off". If you would like the email address to be updated with the suggested update from MailGun, switch this toggle to "on". If you decide to do so, you may select a list that you would like updated when the email address is updated if you would like.

Step 5: Apply this tag if the field is blank

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the property is blank.

If you do not have a list created already, you can create a list by clicking on the plus (+) symbol on the right-hand side of the list selector.

Step 6: Apply this tag if the email address is invalid

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the email address is invalid.

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the email address is valid.

Step 8: Which Phone field should be Validated?

In the drop-down, select which phone property you would like to validate.

Step 9: Attempt validation with default country code(s).

By default, this toggle will be set to "Off". Phone validation requires a fully-qualified phone number (must include country code). By default, PlusThis will try the number as-is, but we can also try it with configurable country codes if you do not have the country code stored in the property. Switch the toggle to "Yes" if you would like to select country codes to attempt the validation with.

Step 10: Update Phone Number with its fully-qualified format.

By default, this toggle will be set to "Off". To update the phone number in the property with it's fully-qualified format (to include the country code), switch this toggle over to "Yes".

Step 11: Apply this tag if the field is blank:

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the property is blank.

Step 12: Apply this tag if the phone number is invalid:

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the property is invalid.

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the property is valid.

Step 14: Apply this tag if the phone number is a mobile number:

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the property is a Mobile Phone Number.

Step 15: Apply this tag if the phone number is a VOIP number:

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the property is a VOIP Phone Number.

​Step 16: Apply this tag if the phone number is a landline number:

In the drop-down, select a list to be updated if the property is a Landline Phone Number.

​Step 17: Tool Name

Enter a name for your tool in this field. The name is solely for use inside of PlusThis, and will not be visible to customers.

Run your tool virtually anywhere in your automation using a Webhook element.

Step 1: Copy the Webhook URL from PlusThis.

Step 2: Add an action in your Hubspot workflow where you would like the PlusThis tool to trigger.

Step 3: Choose the Webhook Trigger at the bottom of the action list on the right hand side.

Step 4: Paste the Webhook in the webhook URL area, and click ‘Save’.
