Allows you to create a link that you can give to your contacts, when clicked, creates a calendar event for your custom events & appointments

Add to Calendar Configuration Options

Event Details

In this section, you will find the options for building your Add to Calendar tool. Follow along in your PlusThis app, or by viewing the numbered step in the screenshots.

Step 1: What do you want to call this event?

Fill in the title for what you'd like to call this event.

Step 2: Event Location

Fill in the event location. If you'd like to merge in the event location from a custom field on the contact record, pick the field on the dropdown on the right-hand side of this option.

Step 3: What event description do you want to use?

Fill in an event description. You can use fields from the contact record in this event description if you would like. Select the field you'd like to merge in from the dropdown on the right-hand side.

Time Details

Configure the time details for your event in this section of the tool configuration.

Step 4: What date source do you want to use?

Select which date source you would like to use for the event to take place. You can select either "a specific date" or "the date found in a field". Select which you would like to use, and then on the right-hand toggle, select the Timezone that the event will take place in.

Step 5: What day and time do you want the event to start?

Depending on what you selected in the previous step, you will either enter the specific date and time you want the event to start, or you will select the date or date/time field from the contact record to start the event on.
- If the field is a date field, you will need to select a time to start.
- If the field is a date/time field, you can utilize the time in the field by leaving the time field blank.

Step 6: How long do you want the event to last?

Select how many hours/minutes your event will last for

Step 7: How often should this event repeat?

You can select how often the event repeats (Does not repeat, Daily, Weekly).
- If you select daily, you will need to select the date the event should stop repeating
- If you select daily, you will need to select the date the event should stop repeating and the days you want the event to repeat on.

Step 8: What would you like to name the downloaded .ics file?

Enter what you'd like the .ics file to be named.

Step 9: Tool Name

Enter a name for your tool in this field. The name is solely for use inside of PlusThis, and will not be visible to customers.

Implementation Types

ICS File

Offer a link in your emails that will download an ICS file, and add the event to your contact's Outlook or iCal application.

Step 1: Select the ICS File (Outlook, iCal) radio button.

Step 2: Copy the Calendar Event Link.

Step 3: Open the HighLevel email you would like to place the Calendar Link in.

Step 4: Hyperlink the Calendar Event Link to the text, image, or button of your choice.

Google Calendar

Offer a link in your emails that will add the event to the contact's Google Calendar.

Step 1: Select the Google radio button.

Step 2: Copy the Calendar Event Link.

Step 3: Open the HighLevel email you would like to place the Calendar Link in.

Step 4: Hyperlink the Calendar Event Link to the text, image, or button of your choice.
